Have you heard about the Australian Government Tourist Refund Scheme?

Anyone planning to travel overseas for snow, surf or general fun may be eligible for extra savings from the Australian Government's Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS).

Basically, any total purchase over $300 that you take with you overseas when leaving Australia should be eligible for you to claim the GST back from the government for extra savings!!

Some other key terms and conditions you must adhere to include:

- Purchase must be within 60 days of your flight

- Officials need to sight the goods, your passport, boarding pass and tax invoice for you to claim the refund
