Be aware that surfboards are not easy items to ship, so shopping online for one will come with a bulky shipping surcharge. Surfboards are generally an item that you really need to get a feel for before purchasing so buying in-store is always recommended.

With many products, you can enjoy free delivery when your order is over $99. This excludes bulky items as these will be sent via a TNT courier service. If your order is under $99, we charge a flat shipping rate of $15 throughout Australia. International shipping is also available.

What should I buy for my first board?

As a beginner, it's important to choose a surfboard that is stable, easy to paddle, and forgiving. Here are a few options to consider:

1. Longboard: A longboard surfboard is typically over 8 feet long and has a wide, round nose, making it stable and easy to balance on. They're great for catching small waves and learning the basics.
2. Funboard: A funboard surfboard is typically between 6 and 8 feet long and has a rounded nose and a wider tail. They're a good compromise between a longboard and a shortboard, offering stability and maneuverability.
3. Soft-top: Soft-top surfboards have a foam core and a soft top surface, making them forgiving and safe for beginners. They're also typically less expensive than traditional fiberglass surfboards.
4. Mini-mal: A mini-mal surfboard is a smaller version of a longboard, typically around 7 feet long. They're easier to maneuver than a longboard but still offer stability for beginners.
